Wagging Wednesday

Happy Wagging Wednesday! I haven't been good with blogging in the last few weeks, but I hope I can get my butt in-gear and be better with that! I haven't done a WW post since January - so prepare yourself for chihuahua-picture overload! Enjoy!

Valentines Day 2014

Happy Valentines Day, Guys and Girls!!!

I believe that we should try to adore and appreciate our loved ones every day of the year, but it's also nice to have one day assigned to telling people how much we love them. It's mine and Andy's 2nd Valentines Day together, after having know each other 7&1/2 years. As usual, I told Andy not to make a fuss as we both are quite strapped for cash at the moment, but still he spoiled me!

Happy Valentines Day, 2014
Happy Valentines Day from Bambi & Rio

I had a Dr's appointment at 8am this morning and when I came home this beautiful lilac rose in a vase and a card where waiting for me in the hallway - what a surprise! In the card was a beautiful lilac Swarovski necklace that I'd spotted for sale a few weeks earlier. I was so shocked that Andy got me anything, and that he'd listened to and remembered me talking about the necklace! Amazing! So he DOES listen to me when I talk lots and lots every single day! :P

Pretty
I love the rose Andy bought me
Swarovski Necklace

We decided not to go out for a Valentines meal as restaurants often hike up the prices for this romantic holiday. Instead we got the £20 Valentines deal from M&S.
M&S Valentines Meal
Salmon, Prawn, Crab & Lobster Appetisers
Chicken breasts wrapped in Parma Ham stuffed with Cheddar & Gruyere Cheeses and Green Beans, served with Potato Rosti Cakes, Baby Corn and Green Beans
Triple Chocolate Heaven  -  Layers of chocolate sponge, milk chocolate ganache, dark chocolate and white chocolate mousses, topped with a red glaze and decorated heart

Cava and Chocolates

My Mum also very kindly sent us a Valentines Day 'Breakfast in Bed' Hamper. It's so lovely that she thought of us and ordered for it to be delivered to us in the UK, whilst she is in the UAE. We can't wait to open up all the goodies!

Valentines Hamper from my Mum

Took a selfie of Andy and I to remember our 2nd Valentines together - but he looks really weird in this picture! He looks like he has a really small head where he is leaning in and looks like a little boy! Haha!!

Me and Andy

This is the card I got for Andy. I think it's really lovely. I keep all the cards we give to each other so that in years to come we can remember all the special occasions we celebrated together.

My card to Andy

Whether you're in a relationship or single, remember that somebody loves you. You are a very special person and are very important to those around you!

Valentines Day Love & Kisses,

Mini TKMaxx Haul

I'm not a massive fan of TKMaxx. I know people either love it or they hate it - I don't hate it, I just can't stand the fact that nothing is in order! Haha! My Mum LOVES TKMaxx. She could spend hours digging through all the mismatching, jumbled up, designer labelled heaps of discounted products. My Mum somehow always seems to find the best bargains from the best labels - I on the other hand don't have the patience!

Over the weekend I visited TKMaxx with my Dad as he needed to get a few items, and while I was there I picked up some bits which I'll show you now. I'm actually really happy with all my purchases and it was of the most stress-free visits to TK's that I've had yet!

Mini TKMaxx Haul

My mini haul.

Argania Spinosa 'Liquid Gold' from Morocco.

I was drawn to this 'Organic Argan Oil' Hair Mask because it says "Liquid Gold" on the label ... I know I'm a sucker for good advertising and product labels!!! I'm always looking for good hair products and I can't wait to try this one out! It was £7.99 reduced from £14.99.

Paname Paris Tweezers.
These are the best tweezers I have ever used!

These tweezers are literally the BEST tweezers I have ever owned! They are pretty but also do the job very well. I've bought countless tweezers in the past that were so rubbish at actually gripping a hair (or anything for that matter). I would recommend this brand to anybody that's fed up with crappy tweezers! These were £2.99 reduced from £8.99.

Argania Hair Oil  -  Light (100ml / 3.4fl.oz)

I usually buy Moroccan Oil, but it can be expensive when you're tight on money. I saw several different variations of Argan Oil hair products at TKMaxx and decided on this one. Maybe I was convinced by the similarity in the packaging to the expensive Moroccan Oil. I'm intrigued to see how this oil treatment compares. The oil was £9.99 reduced from £19.99.

Anne Klein Cosmetics Purse.

Finally, my make-up bag has been looking tired for sometime now. I've been keeping an eye out for a cute make-up bag to replace my current one, and only now have I found one that I like, that's not too big or too small. This Anne Klein cosmetics purse was £12.99 (I can't find the sticker which had the original retail price on it - sorry!).

Are you a TKMaxx fan? Or do you find it stressful to have to rummage around for hidden treasures?

Love & Kisses,

Vicki xoxo
